Goldfarb offers two accredited program options available to students; upper division and accelerated.
The Upper Division Option is a full-time, five term program offered to students who have completed their first two years of education at an accredited institution of higher-learning. Students can receive their degree in just 20 months.
The Accelerated Option is an intensive, one-year program for students who are interested in earning a BSN. The accelerated program is designed for highly motivated students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing.
Goldfarb offers many benefits to students seeking a BSN. A few benefits include our convenient campuses, one campus site on the Washington University Medical Campus and a second one located on the Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Goldfarb provides an interdisciplinary emphasis, giving our students the ability to learn alongside other students in various health care disciplines, and provides students with a curriculum centered on strong core nursing courses. The world-class simulation center available to students gives Goldfarb students a supportive learning environment where they can put their knowledge and skills into action prior to clinical rotations, and the diverse clinical experiences expose students to real-world health care environments in diverse settings.
With successful program outcomes, an NCLEX pass rate of 93.15% in 2018 – above the state and national average – and having eighty-eighty percent of 2018 BSN graduates self-reporting they accepted a position two to ten months after graduation, Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing is the largest nursing school in the state of Missouri graduating over 300 BSN prepared nurses each year.
