Since opening in 2012 Goldfarb’s School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College located on Missouri Baptist Medical Center campus continues to graduate nurses into the workforce annually.

Goldfarb’s West Campus site features four simulation labs, including:

Two adult labs, a women’s health lab, and a pediatric lab
A three-bed skills and three-bay assessment lab
15 patients simulators

Students enrolled at this site receive a bachelor of science in nursing degree (BSN). The program includes rigorous academic course work and student support services from Goldfarb School of Nursing faculty and staff, and the opportunity to learn from the expertise of Missouri Baptist nurses at the bedside during clinical training.

“I love the west campus site because of the class size and the amazing teachers,” said Stephanie Aven, Upper Division student, “I feel like I actually get to know the teachers and the campus is a very convenient location!”

In addition to offering a BSN, Goldfarb School of Nursing has research faculty members dedicated to helping Missouri Baptist nurses conduct research and apply evidence-based practice on its campus. This will promote the use of new knowledge and innovation as a foundation for students conducting their clinical training at Missouri Baptist.
