Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing classes of 2009, 1994, and 1969 gathered to celebrate their 10, 25 and 50 class reunions on August 16-17, 2019. The Barnes-Jewish College Alumni Association holds this special event annually; this year’s reunions took place in conjunction with the college’s spring commencement ceremony.
“Hosting reunions for our alumni is a valued engagement strategy and this year we honored our 10, 25 and 50 year graduates,” said June Cowell-Oates, EdD, LPC, LCSW, CEAP, director of alumni affairs and program officer of student affairs and diversity at Goldfarb. “Adding the 10 year graduates was an opportunity to reconnect with our 2009 Goldfarb graduates and to provide a shared reunion experience with their 25 and 50 year fellow graduates from the Jewish and Barnes Schools of Nursing.”
Goldfarb puts a high priority on alumni relations and the college’s Alumni Association takes great pride in planning these reunions. The events create a tremendous opportunity for alumni to reconnect, reminisce and recall the steps they took to achieve accomplished careers in nursing.
