Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing graduate student Aireal Bishop has two very demanding full-time jobs: raising two young daughters and working as an operating room nurse. Aireal definitely has a full plate, but she has always been determined to pursue her dream of an advanced education.
Aireal is a student in the Primary Care Adult Nurse Practitioner Program at Goldfarb. After earning the Leo and Myrtle Fuller Endowed Nursing Scholarship Fund, supported by The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Aireal can remain in the program after significantly reducing her work hours to begin clinical rotations.
“I am so grateful and humbled for this opportunity, this scholarship means so much to me and I hope one day will be able to help someone that is just like me by giving back,” said Aireal. “Having this scholarship definitely motivates me even more to finish this degree.”
