Dr. Pamela Newland, associate professor at Goldfarb, co-authored an article entitled "The Emerging Role of the Gut Microbiome in Adult Patients with Multiple Sclerosis." Originally published in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing, Dec. 2016 issue, the article explores the suggestion that alterations in the normal gut flora may contribute to MS etiology and symptoms.
