Students at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing attended a panel discussion about nursing care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and intersex (LGBTQI) patients. On Thursday, June 23, approximately 200 students from Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing attended a panel discussion about nursing care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and intersex (LGBTQI) patients.
George Holland was elected to serve a two-year term as Alumni Advisory Council Chair of the Barnes-Jewish College Alumni Association. Drinkard Named Interim Dean for Goldfarb School of Nursing

Gretchen Drinkard, PhD, RN, was recently named interim dean for the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing. ST. LOUIS – Gretchen Drinkard, PhD, RN, was recently named interim dean for the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing as a national search takes place to replace Michael Bleich, PhD, RN, FAAN who left the college at the end of May.
Drinkard currently serves as the Jack Taylor Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and doctorate of nursing practice program director. Prior to that, Drinkard was associate dean for graduate programs at Goldfarb.

Katheryne Tifuh Amba, a student in the PhD/DNP program at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, will present her research at the American Telemedicine Association’s 21st annual meeting and trade show, May 14-17, in Minneapolis, Minn. The American Telemedicine Association is the leading international resource and advocate promoting the use of advanced remote medical technologies.
