Teri Boyd, EdD, MNSc, RN, assistant professor at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, has been appointed to the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses’ (QSEN) Academia Task Force. The task force is one of 11 QSEN established to provide an opportunity for nursing professionals with particular expertise to expand scholarly work in given areas of focus.

Dr. Pamela Newland, associate professor at Goldfarb, co-authored an article entitled "The Emerging Role of the Gut Microbiome in Adult Patients with Multiple Sclerosis." Originally published in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing, Dec. 2016 issue, the article explores the suggestion that alterations in the normal gut flora may contribute to MS etiology and symptoms.
