Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing is one of nine schools honored by the American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN). The American Association for Men in Nursing (AAMN) named Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing an AAMN Best School of Nursing. The honor recognizes nursing schools that make significant efforts to recruit and retain men in the nursing profession.

Goldfarb Student Responds to Flint, Michigan, Water Crisis

By establishing a donation drive, nursing student De’Auna Timmons and her fellow Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing classmates collected items like bottled water, dry shampoo, mouthwash, toothpaste, dental floss, no-rinse body wash, feminine wipes, Germ-x, and fall and winter clothing. All of it destined to reach the people of Flint, Michigan. De’Auna Timmons, a second-term, upper-division, Bachelor of Science student at Goldfarb, isn’t from Flint, Michigan, doesn’t have a personal connection to the community and, until this September, had never visited there.
The Missouri Board of Nursing is set to visit Goldfarb

The Missouri State Board of Nursing would like to give alumni, students, faculty and staff the opportunity to provide written input to the evaluation team. The Missouri Board of Nursing is set to visit Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing to evaluate the pre-licensure program in nursing.
The on-site visit is scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2018.

Sager Named HSHS Southern Division Chief Nursing Executive

Kelly Sager, RN, MHA, a Goldfarb alum, has been named the Chief Nursing Executive for the Southern Illinois Division (SID) of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS).
About one thousand nurses gathered in St. Louis from Tuesday, July 31 to Sunday, August 5 for the 46thannual Institute and Conference of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA). As a sponsor of the event, Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing enjoyed attending the conference and hosting several young aspiring nurses on a tour of the college.
