Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing classes of 2009, 1994, and 1969 gathered to celebrate their 10, 25 and 50 class reunions on August 16-17, 2019. The Barnes-Jewish College Alumni Association holds this special event annually; this year’s reunions took place in conjunction with the college’s spring commencement ceremony. Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing graduate student Aireal Bishop has two very demanding full-time jobs: raising two young daughters and working as an operating room nurse. Each year, the Barnes-Jewish College Alumni Association awards alumni from Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing and their legacy schools the prestigious honor of the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Nicole Herbel, Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing student, has been chosen as a recipient of the Army Nurse Corps Association Scholarship. Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing's Nurse Anesthesia Program, in affiliation with the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis, received continued International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA) Accreditation in May 2019, valid until May 2024, allowing for the program to transition from a MSN degree program to a DNP degree program.  It’s official.
