Two adult labs, a women’s health lab, and a pediatric lab
A three-bed skills and three-bay assessment lab

The traditional model of nursing education at Barnes-Jewish has featured an instructor from Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing leading a group of eight students through a semester of clinical learning on a nursing unit. The Dedicated Education Units (DEU) will facilitate skills development for students and provide the opportunity for a team of nurses to prepare the next generation of nurses.

Jessica Washington, a student at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, recently was awarded the school’s 2019 Dr. Donald M. Suggs Minority Nursing Student Scholarship. Washington is a first-term nursing student in Goldfarb’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing classes of 2009, 1994, and 1969 gathered to celebrate their 10, 25 and 50 class reunions on August 16-17, 2019. The Barnes-Jewish College Alumni Association holds this special event annually; this year’s reunions took place in conjunction with the college’s spring commencement ceremony.
