The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is scheduled to visit Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing to evaluate the BSN and DNP programs. The on-site visit is scheduled for February 18 – 21, 2020. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is scheduled to visit Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing to evaluate the BSN and DNP programs.

September marked a “new beginning” in nurse education at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. September marked a “new beginning” in nurse education at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
The traditional model of nursing education at Barnes-Jewish has featured an instructor from Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing leading a group of eight students through a semester of clinical learning on a nursing unit. The Dedicated Education Units (DEU) will facilitate skills development for students and provide the opportunity for a team of nurses to prepare the next generation of nurses.
Jessica Washington, a student at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, recently was awarded the school’s 2019 Dr. Donald M. Suggs Minority Nursing Student Scholarship. Washington is a first-term nursing student in Goldfarb’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
